Great show, great sound, good crowd. The set was kinda short, but it was sweet. Harder To Ignore and Situation Gone Bad are my new favorites. My old favorites, Exhibit A and Million Ways, were even better than I remember. All around tight show. There was a new song that I didn't catch the name of. I can't wait to hear it again, it sounds like a keeper. I dunno if this is a surprise to anyone or not, but Roger shaved the beard, but he's still got the hippie hair and big 'burns. Great to meet joeywade and alan. I'll write more when it's not 4a.m.

Do those really qualify as "old" favorites? I was surprised to see Kari Ann in the set. Especially in such a short set. Good to know they can still mix it up like that. Of course, a set without Leave It All Behind, See You Thru nor Thursday concerns me a bit. I guess that's what people used to say about sets without Paid to Think, Extension Cord and Stagecoach. Of course, that concerns me even more. Hopefully their Nashville/Murfreesboro gameplan will be a bit different. Not to say I don't dig the newer stuff-- Exhibit A and TTWIMTB are probably in my top 10. I just fear change is all.

I won't be happy if LIAB is skipped on Thursday. Best song ever.

And a new song? Oh, I am way too excited about this... biggrin.gif

Songs left out of the setlist that were indeed played:
harder to ignore
leave it all behind
thursday
situation gone bad was actually the first encore

there still may be a couple left out. i didn't keep track, and matt basically played whatever people yelled out. parrish played a good bit of the design before the show during the sound check, but they didn't do it during the set. i kept yelling for growing old and temporary blues, but they didn't happen. circus could have been labeled as parts 1 and 2, because matt blew a fuse in his amp during the first part of the song. there was a good 5 minute gap right in the middle of it. just shows how hardcore he is. I tried to record, but my home-made microphone made out of 5 dollars worth of wire from radio shack is on its last legs. It didn't turn out at all. Did anyone else happen to record?

and carl, i meant my "former" favorites.

so I'm confused...did it end up being 21+ or did you sneak in or what??
Why would you do that?

well, officially it was 21+, but they let some of us 18+ "travelers" in.

and are you sure they played Leave it all Behind??? I know someone kept yelling for it, but i don't remember it or Thursday. I listened to my features cd on the way home and it thoroughly screwed up the mental notes about the set list. so I'm prolly wrong smile.gif Anyway, I can't wait for the red rose show!

You don't remember them? Were you cracked out or what?

And Buckley, I called ahead and got put on "the list." Joey just showed up and used the "I just drove 4 hours to see this band" thing.

I hope "Harder to Ignore" starts to gain more momentum. I like that one a lot.

Well, thanks for spreading the word! Dammit...I e-mailed them, why did those butts not speak of this "list"?
