I couldn't go, anyone got a setlist or report on how it was?

I don't have the setlist, but I know they played these songs:

Circus
Demons
Million Ways
Exhibit A
Me and the Skirts
Leave it all Behind
The Way its Meant to Be
Contrast
Wooden Heart
Mosis Ptosis
About 5 new songs (new to me, anyway) one of which sounded like a new version of temporary blues

Encores:
The Idea of Growing Old
Commotion
Blow it out

the show was good, but it wasn't the best. i was blown away by the bluecats show last month, and something about this one (maybe due to the lighting, where i was standing) was lacking. Matt had a big fat beard going on, Roger style. I was disappointed that they didn't play all of the Contrast EP (namely I Will Wander) but you can't be picky about everything. Maybe someone can fill in more details.

New version of Temporary Blues.........?

Matt with a Roger-style beard???? That's interesting.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

i took some pictures of "the beard" but i was kinda far away and they didn't turn out that great. i'll try to post them later.

the "new temporary blues" might be a new song altogether (like the way "Stick Together" morphed into LIAB) but the chorus definitely says "Watch out, here they come, temporary blues are going to bring you down." I can't remember any of the verses, and the music is completely different.

But this beard goes against that quote, "I can't grow a beard and I don't like to party." Does Matt party now?

Wow, seeing is believing! He DID grow a beard. My theory: with Parrish and Roger, the band had reached its quota of necessary facial hair for a southern rock band. When Parrish departed, Matt decided he had to take up the slack and grow that sucker out.

I think the band should make an official statement about this. We can't be left in the dark any longer about the band members' facial hair!!!!

Vovo Feat has been known to at least have little stubble now and then, has he not?

Whoa. I feel like the look would be complete with some bell bottoms and pot, but I'll have to see it in person before I can form a real opinion. It's not as Roger-style as I had imagined.

While Matt has the beard, if anyone wants to call him "Tomcat" they're more than welcome.
