Hey Lou

This show was the best in months- tons of great new stuff & the best of the old. The crowd was big & many were dancing joyously. Parrish was playing some interesting parts & sounded especially good. Only complaint is that requests for 'Don't Lie' went unheeded. Sorry to anyone who missed it!

From another forum:

the features were better than ever last night at the boro. playing songs from their new ep and even old favorites such as pyscho killer and armani suede, the bands set kept rockin to a packed house.  see you tonight in nashville!!

I must concur. The Features were bitchin' last night. The best show in recent memory. Further proof of the fact that when these guys are on, there is no one better. I hope they play with the same energy and panache at the show tonight, but alas their nashville shows are always a bit more subdued.

I agree with you - great show.  This show is why I love seeing the Features at the Boro.  It seems to be just like band practice for them, with a few friends watching.  They are so loose and relaxed and literally willing to try anything (Hey Lou, Capt. Williams, etc).  And such a nice long set.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.
