Best Features show ever.  Hands down, no doubt about it.  At least the best that I have ever seen.  Where do I start?  This club, Blue Cat's, sounded incredible.  It was loud as shit, the way rock'n'roll *should* be.  Great mix.  The crowd was incredible.  Everyone was on their feet and right up front the entire time.  A handful of people were even dancing, in their own way (mountain people, I think they were).  The crowd reaction was unbelievable to me.  It was like being at an arena rock concert.  The Features got a *real* encore - house lights down, band offstage, the crowd cheering for about 2 straight minutes until the band comes back on - not your usual club encore.  It was a new reality - the Features as full-on rock stars.  Oh yeah, and the music was the best that I have ever seen the Features produce.  New songs, old songs, rarities, stuff they play all the time - they all sounded incredible - and played with such confidence and enthusiasm - Roger broke an E string, for goodness sake!  I don't know what else to say except I wish that every Features fan could've seen this show.  It's downright scary to think that the Features could get any better than this show.

bout time sir.
i apologize to anyone who missed this set. fantastic. great crowd response, out of control east tennessee jessco white type dancin', killer sound, purple walls, pretty ladies (my theory that hot girls love the features applies well in knoxville), beer, et cetera, et cetera. before this show i had never been to a concert where a band does an encore despite the house music being on. leave it to the features to change that. also, the bitter pills were a lot of fun. straight out the nuggets box sets. did someone forget to tell these boys it's not 1963? oh well, their ignorance of the year equates to good solid rock show. nice job, gents.
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

I think both of you need to lay off the 'jessco-type mountain people'. They could easily be bigger and better fans than either of you (assuming that neither of you are these hillbilly figures yourselves). It is worth stating again, GREAT show!
An open frame in the 10th, I WAS ROBBED!

No disrespect intended. I was just stating, as a fact, the genre of dancing involved. Every fan has their own way of enjoying a Features show; far be it from me to judge.
