Blightman: stealing my thunder.

Well, as you can see, this set was kind of short by Boro standards.  They usually play for alot longer at the Boro, but I believe that Matt broke string(s) on all of his guitars, so they had to call it quits after Thursday.

The Boro was PACKED!  I have not ever seen the Boro that full, except for Self shows there.

The show was good.  Not the best show by any means, but still the best way to spend a Friday night.

Oh! The show lastnight was a beautiful one. I think the opening band was a little on the obnoxious side but...

the show was excellent ( wish it were a little longer, but that could not be helped). had an excellent view sitting on one of the booths. my only complaint was the chick who kept on screaming for 'thursday'. she should have just waited for it. everyone knew it was coming. anyway, i got my money's worth and had an amazing time. i even got to shake matt's hand at the end of the show.

yeah, I wish the Boro had a little taller stage. I could see for the first two songs because I was on top of a booth seat, but after that it was only Matt and Roger's heads. It seemed to sound a bit better to me than other times that I have seen the Features at the Boro, maybe because I was in the center of the room this time instead of the back corner of the bar. I really liked hearing Circus as the opener. I enjoyed the show and the visit, especially the trip to IHOP at sunrise, what a nightcap.

yeah so i made the drive. very good show. since i was in the tapers section i couldn't see anything, but it sounded great. those new songs are becoming fast favorites, especially the design, buffalohead, and the idea of growning old. great to see everyone. dv and i should make another return for the 26th show.
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

well I must say, this was my first show at the boro, and definitely the best show I have seen yet. I was right up in front, directly in front of rollum, so I had no trouble seeing. (im not gloating; I am only 5 feet tall, and seeing is usually a problem) I was so pumped to hear KArie Ann. Anyway, the opening band scared me. a lot. but the features rocked my socks. as always.

what about a show on the 26th?
thank you for being a friend.

I've always thought Circus was the best opener for Features sets because it just sort of brings one into the world of their emotions and sounds right at the beginning. 'The Beginning' and 'Walk You Home' and some of those others can get a crowd going very well, but they don't have quite the push for me that 'Circus' does. Maybe I'm just nostalgic and think their best shows were back when it was ALWAYS the opener.

One of my problems with the Boro is that I always end up pushed to the back of the 'pit' where every one stands. I'd rather keep a table if I'm not going to be able to see or just wait till they play somewhere like

Exit/In on April 26, the show about which you were asking SOS.

This was my first time watching The Features, and now I am hooked. I had a great spot, right in front of Matt behind just one row of guys.  The first band was a little scary, but The Features rocked. They sounded great, and everyone was jamming out with them.  I plan to make a lot more trips. In fact, I am making the drive for the show on April 26th and May 2nd.
