Holy crap, I thought I was going to die. That floor kept bouncing and bouncing. But other than that, it was pretty good. Wasn't too impressed by the first new song, don't know quite what to think about the second, with Matt on keyboards and everything, but I liked the third pretty good. Glad they played Bumblebee and 33 and 1/3. Matt seemed like he really didn't want to play Bumblebee, but I'm really glad he did. Still like the Rawlings version of Stagecoach better.
So I'm Hooking up with David Dewese David Dewese, double D Hooking up with DD DD, don't make me say please again oh no again oh no

I liked all the new stuff a whole lot... however I'm hoping that they are still works in progress, especially the last one. It was way too short. I'm glad they are expanding their "sound" a little bit. It got me really excited. I really hope they don't end up like chemical head and never see the light of day again- they have potential!

first time at wallstreet. I liked it. wasn't too crazy about the 2 hour late start, but who knows who's to blame there. No biggie.

damn, it was hot up there!
but the show was hot too. three new songs?! i really hope they don't go the way of failed attempt, chemical head, or that slower song they debuted at the last wall street show. i think i liked the matt keyboard song the best, but i'll have to hear them all again. the beginning was extra good last night. and i'm glad my request for temorary blues was fufilled. this was definitely a fun, trampoline-floored night.

A definitely great show. I have to comment on the drunk girl next to me that I dubbed The Bear Cozy. After every song she would squeak out "THIRTY THREE AND A THIRRRRD" and then ask every Feature if she could get them one of the beers that they had in their cooler. "Roger! Uwannabeer? Okay! Matt, uwannabeer? Rollum, herezyerbeer!" She was all about handing them their beer.

I hate Wall Street. This venue simply cannot contain the Features. It sucks that the only places they can play in the Boro are Infernobar (where suds and foam fall from the sky!!) and this deathtrap.

The new songs are amazing, of course. The first one features some amazingly spastic drumming by Rollum and a little end segment where Parrish's keyboard battles Matt's guitar for the melody. Darn fine. The second one was great as well, but I wish I could have heard the lyrics since I'm sure they were extra sweet (he was at a keyboard for heaven's sake). The third one, oh man, amazing. All of these songs MUST be played again!

Great show. One of the better ones I've seen in a while.

i enjoyed the show, the new song with matt on keys was very good, the setlist i couldnt argue with, souther jedi and the props rocked, and the speakers looked ready to fall and wipe out the whole front and right side of the audience. That's rock n roll
Sometime's I'm thinking that I love you, but I know it's only lust.

DAMN, that was a great show! Setlist-wise that was the strongest start I've seen EVER. So many good songs to lead off the set. I am hereby taking 100% credit for Bumblebee as I was the dude yelling for it shortly after the technical difficulties started. You can thank me for that amazing 2-piece rendition. Getting 33 1/3 and Stagecoach was much appreciated, too.

I still don't see the big deal with Harder 2 Ignore. Give me Circus any day!

The new songs were great, especially the last one. Holy crap-- did he wail on that harmonica or what? I also thought the first one was especially good. All three kicked Whiz is Golden's ass all over the place. I honestly feel that overall their songs are getting better and better.

I'm coming around on Million Ways. I think it'll make a strong second single overseas.

Okay, I realize this is cheesy, but I was thinking last night about how amazingly lucky I am to have had the opportunity to see this band in small clubs for the past 4 years. Whether they blow up or not, I honestly feel like we've had a really well kept secret here for a long time.

This show was absolutely wonderful!! The new songs were great. Although the drunk girl next to digsy got on my nerves, nothing could have really ruined my night. I didn't think Wall Street was as scary this time around either.

Sorry to be the asshole, and I'll qualify this by saying that even a not-so-great Features show is still a good show, but I thought last night's show was one of their worst I've seen in a while. I realize that technical difficulties aren't really their fault, but it still kills the momentum of the show if they have to stop for 5 minutes between every song. And when they were playing, it just wasn't as tight as the Major Label Recording Artists Features we've come to know over the past year. That last show at 12th and Porter was just so tight, coming back from touring and whatnot, and last night sort of reminded me of The Features at The Boro circa 2000, not that that's a bad thing, but if they are poised to be the Next Big Thing or whatever, the standards are pretty high.

I think the new songs have a lot of potential, especially the last 2, but they don't really sound complete yet.

I'm surprised to hear myself say (type) this, but it was nice to hear 33 1/3. I never liked that song live much, but as a rarity it works well. I was also very happy that they played Stagecoach. I wish they'd play it more often.

What the hell happened to Moonlight?
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

The show was extremely good last night. Highlights: Dark Room, The Beginning, and Temporary Blues. I really enjoyed all three new songs. The first new song was really good, the second one was better, and the third one was the best...quite pleased.

I really enjoy Wallstreet. I wish they could play there more often. The trampoline floor is a bit scary, but mostly just fun. Aside from it being crazy hot, I like the place.

Very good show.

I have mixed emotions on this show. When they were playing, it was great; but as Keith pointed out, the momentum seemed to get killed after every three songs or so. For the first time since my first Features show, I kept thinking "man, I wish they would just hurry up and finish this set off". It just kept dragging and dragging.

I'm not sold on these three new songs yet. I think that the second featuring Matt on the keyboard will make the grade, but the others have a lot of kinks to get worked out.

Carl, none of those new songs from last night are better than Golden. Not yet anyway. All of this Golden shit-talking needs to stop. Y'all are retarded. And, you don't get Harder To Ignore, but you requested Bumblebee...? I just can't wrap my head around that. H2I is infectious!

My current favorite live songs:

I found myself thinking the same thing. The setlist was incredible, I was thrilled about the new songs, and the band put on an awesome show. However, while it was one of the most exciting shows I've been to, I found myself waiting for it to end. Most of this is prolly due to the 2 HOUR LATE START, but the "technical difficulties", and time between songs didn't help out either.

Someone video-taped it from the soundboard area.

I did not record, because the vocals were hardly audible at the last Wall Street show. It's also kind of a hassle there, because there's no great recording "spot".

I really enjoyed the show but it was too fucking hot. The technical difficulties were becoming annoying too, but you know that's life. I also thought that I would be killed by the "shakin'" speaker. I think the highlights were Darkroom and 33 1/3. GREAT!! And was it me or did the Southern Jedi's (you should not use the word JEDI in your band name unless you are amazing) set last freakin' forever!!! I found Digsy's AstroSmash game much more entertaining. And as Ray Davies said, the lead singer was Russell Crowe (he does have a cd out you know).

"Oh my God you suck."

I could not have said it better.

First of all The Features were great. I loved the show. One of the best. I liked the new songs especially the last one. Golden is definately growing on me. Bumblebee was a treat. And i love Mosis Ptosis

Wallstreet was a little creepy. Too freakin hot. I could barely hear vocals. And I thought the floor was going to cave in (but i must admit it was kinda fun to bounce around) Plus the freakin cowboy wannabe and his weirdo musicians that opened sucked and went on and on and on. I only clapped at the end because they were finally getting off the stage. Its ok though cause The Features are worth it.

The show rocked. Period. Yeah, there were a couple sticky parts where stuff slowed down, but if you were there to rock, rock you did. I rather enjoyed the couple of minor interruptions. Also, the new songs, especially Revelations were excellent.

Yeah, you're right. Action would have been a much better guitar and drums song.

I requested Bumblebee because Matt and Rollum were standing there with their proverbial thumbs up their proverbial asses waiting for Roger and Parrish to fix the bass problems. To me, Bumblebee is the one Features song that sounds better when it's stripped down. That was the point. Otherwise, I would have asked for S/S and kept up my obnoxious streak.

Late review, sorry....well, I liked the show when they were playing. The third new song with the harmonica was my favorite, and "Darkroom" really is enough for me. It was, as stated, very fucking hott in therre. I want to give special thanks to the girl in the t-shirt with "45" on it to my right for A.) Sharing her lighter and B.) Not getting all psycho when I accidently stepped on her toe, as well as her friends. I blame it all on the band. Also, thanks to Digsy for the awesome jam-out to 33 1/3. Making up dance moves to correlate with song lyrics is both gay and awesome.

PS - I really wanted a Stones cover due soley to that shirt/vest

That setlist was freaking awesome. It sucks so much that I didn't get to make it to the show I passed by there after I got off from work.. I was already sleep deprived for the day and I had to be at work the next morning at freaking 7:30 so I just chalked it up as a loss. It killed me to know they were playing in the boro and I wasn't there man lol. I had to watch Comedy Central just to get my mind off it that night. But I guess I'll just have to wait til next time. Maybe I'll make a show in a few months. Seein as how I know I won't be at the next few shows not even the one on campus sad.gif sad.gif
