I'm going to go ahead and post about this show, simply because I want to point out that every time the Features come up to Lexington, the crowd is a little bigger and a little bigger. Yay! I used to feel sorta bad that they'd drive all the way up here for not many people, although it did always feel like a special show just for me and Keith...
I even got to meet a few people who were in from out of town, which was really great, including "The Other Melinda". She posts more than I do, though, so maybe I'm "The Other Melinda".
I don't remember the exact order of songs, except that they opened with Circus. Also played Blow It Out, Exhibit A, Walk You Home, TWIMTB, Exorcising Demons, Mosis Ptosis, Leave It All Behind, Me and The Skirts, and of course Thursday*.
There was supposed to be another band coming on after the Features (poor guys), so they started to hastily take down gear. Rollum had 2 cymbals in his hands when the owner of The Dame convinced them to play another couple songs -- See You Through & Million Ways, if I remember correctly.
Maybe someone else who was there will correct me if my memory of the songs is faulty. All in all, a very fun show. Still not as fun as the Tennessee shows, where the crowd already knows and loves them, but getting better all the time. I wish the sound board had had the vocal mixed a bit higher, but that's my only comment.
[*The very first post I ever made to this board was before I was familiar with the sarcasm that runs thick here -- someone posted something about not hearing them do Thursday in a long while, and I said Wow, they played it here! Newbie that I was...]
