Saw the Features last night. It was the first time ive seen them and I was pretty impressed, although their were a few technical problems (feedback). As I expected, the majority of the set was from Exhibit A, with the release of the album in the UK on the horizon. As I work at the venue, I managed to meet the band before the show and had a chat with Rollum and Matt. I was surprised when Rollum said that our venue was big in relation to those they play in in the US, The Foundry has a capacity of around 900.
The show seemed to go down well, most people in the audience would have been unfamiliar with the band, as they have not recieved much publicity in the Uk. Also, it was a student club night, so people were there for the indie disco afterwards as much as they were there for the gig, but there was a fair amount of dancing going on, and pretty loud cheering.
