Saw The Features open up for Razorlight last night, and was very impressed by them. I had head of them before tonight, but never heard them and was very pleased. I got a setlist, and can type it out if you guys want me to. I wanted to get a CD, but they had already pakced up and left after the Razorlight set. Oh well. I brought my camera to the show, and took some photos of both The Features and Razorlight, and uploaded them to my website for all to see. They are not far away from Atlanta so I home they return soon and many times! smile.gif Thanks guys you rock, and your drummer is the man.

Welcome to the board. Glad you enjoyed the show. I'm sure many of us would appreciate it if you had time to post the setlist- I'm curious as to if they are keeping the same one night after night.

Nice pictures by the way.

First time I've seen the Features in a year. Didn't recognize anyone besides the features and their relatives. Short, but sweet, with some songs I hadn't heard before. I think the set was something like this:

Circus
Way it's Meant to Be
Me and the Skirts
Blow it Out
Million Ways
Dark Room
Temporary Blues
Mosis Ptosis
Hold on to you or something
Arkada or Our Cater as I like to call it
Thursday

I think that was all. Roger wished his mother a happy birthday. I think many such as the guy standing next to me taking pictures and all his friends really got into it, as they should because they definitely were on. Didn't stick around for much of Razorlight since I didn't really get into them. It was good to see them after such a long time, but kind of sad at the same time without Mr Littlejeans. I think he would have enjoyed the show immensely, though.
Why would you do that?

Yeah, I really enjoyed the Atlanta show too, although I thought Razorlight was a little hoakie. I tire of bands mixing WWF and rock by jumping off things... The bathrooms at the masq do live up to their terrible reputation.
You can do the wiki if you want to,
you can leave your friends behind.

i was at the atlanta show, too. i felt like i was one of the only ones who had any previous knowledge of the band, though. it was definitely a really awesome show, though--i liked the sound better than their album, even.

naturally. they are one of the few bands that I enjoy more live and exude more energy than in a recording. everyone else seems to be lesser versions of their canned material. I've come away from many a concert thinking, "that was cool getting to see ___ live, but I think I would have enjoyed a features show more."

Definitely. They are much better live, though not at all shabby on any recording I've heard. I also have to say that I enjoy De Novo Dahl better live...but I think that's partly because Yadadada has hogged Cats and Kittens since Saturday night. Perhaps I will fall in love with that recording when I can properly listen to it.

The Privates are one band that I can enjoy equally live and through my stereo -- not because they are an inferior live show, but just because I really enjoy their album.

Sorry, to post this multiple times, I wasn't sure where it would be most likely to be seen:

I saw the Features open for Kings of Leon in San Diego at the end of January. I thought the last song they played was just great. Maybe it was Thursday, it sort of broke down in the middle and had a whistling solo. All in all really cool. Can anyone confirm what this song was and where I can find it?

I'll just post the answer three times, too:

Yes, that sounds like "Thursday", and it's a real fan favorite. The song was released on vinyl many years ago (w/Rabbit March), but, sadly, is now out of print. Ocassionaly you can find it on ebay.
