Who wants to post the info on the latest shows? Aside from the loving phone calls I get, I have no clue what's going on. Where's JamieCarroll?

Saturday night, there were two new songs. Other than that, it was all Contrast EP and Exhibit A. There were a couple non-Exhibit A tracks like Mosis Ptosis and maybe something I'm forgetting.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. It's sad to think that the genius (and I mean GENIUS) material they had going has all gone the way of "Paid To Think." But, it's always exciting to hear new material by them because I've never been let down.

Basically (from what I can remember from the past four shows):

Circus
Exhibit A (minus Situation Gone Bad, Harder to Ignore, and Someway Somehow)
Contrast EP
maybe a couple of really new ones I can't remember
Mosis Ptosis (thank god it's still around)

I'd be happy if they'd throw in "Hold You Alone", "Dark Room", and "Foundation's Cracked"...and some others, but those are the main ones.

I'm sure since I missed the Grimey's thing, they played some crazy version of "The Beehive State" or something.

But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

As it used to be very well-documented, I've never been a fan of the song, but I think a return of "God Sace Rock 'n' Roll" would be more than appropriate.

No crazy version of "Beehive State," but since we're talking about it - I've got it on a CD and freakin' love it. Gosh, covers aren't so bad, are they? Rollum did a great job on WMTS today.

Are you talking about the show Matt and Parrish did in January?

Did Rollum cover anything?

I hope they cover All You Need Is Love by The Beatles. I think The Features would do an awesome version of that.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Yes - the January show. No, he didn't cover anything, but he did answer some questions. I won't tell you what those questions were. Mu-haha.

Hello everyone!

I'm brand spankin new to the features. I have been listening to them for the past two months and I am totally obsessed. I am finally getting to see them on Wednesday night, here in New York City!

I've been listening to the contrast ep, the beginnings ep, exhibit a, and a few songs I found around the net like Thursday and D-con(?)...
but from reading this thread it looks like there is so much more!

Is there anywhere I can track down Mosis Ptosis, Hold You Alone, Dark Room, and Foundation's Cracked? Thanks

Is there anything I should know to be prepared for this show?

Like I said I am obsessed and I cannot wait to see them live. I look forward to coming back here and reporting on it all...

I doubt there's anything you need to know before the show except that you can expect a damn good time.

The tracks you mentioned have only been recorded from live shows. No known studio recordings or demos have surfaced. There are some live recordings of them, though.

Hmmm, you should definately talk to Digsy about all that. If I'm not mistaken, he's a resident of NYC at this time.

That would be something worth knowing. Find Digsy and stand next to him for the show. It's always augmented the experience when I've done that.

Yeah, people get contact highs off of me. It's pretty sweet.

Clap during "The Way It's Meant To Be."

So..."See You Thru" is dead now, isn't it? Man...

Video tape? That's always good. I want to search on youtube for them and find more than what I've put up.

That's good too. If done, could be the first live recordings of everything on The Contrast EP except for "I Will Wander" and the version of "Contrast" played at the Lightning 100 show way back when.

Mr. DaDa, is that version of "Contrast" at all similar to the current one? I've been wondering...

Record away. Just don't sell it. They're really cool with recording and trading.

Is the old version of "I Will Wander" floating around? I'd love to hear the pre-EP way again, as well as some of those other new songs from early '06 that haven't yet resurfaced.

As I recall, the lightning 100 version of "Contrast" seemed like a completely different song - but was reworked into the version we know today shortly thereafter...though I could be completely wrong, and it sounds exactly the same.
