Nobody's mentioned their performance in Edinburgh so I thought I would! I had only heard a couple of thier songs before going but after seeing them I'm now a big fan! Rollum was particularly brilliant to watch coz he had so much energy and cute expressions! Luved it also when Matthew whistled in one of the songs..dunno which one it was though. The Way It's meant To Be is my favourite song for sure. Can't stop playing their album. Was soooooooo happy that I got the CD signed. Very nice of them!!

Their performance at Edinburgh was very good. I was up there for a long wkend. Went to the Glasaow gig too. I have been to 4 concerts and can't get enough of them. The song Matthew was whistling to was called Thursday. It's a very new song, but great.

Glad you enjoyed the show! Thursday isn't exactly new, but always a crowd pleaser!

Haha, "very new." That's precious.

"Thursday" dates back to the old lineup of the Features (different drummer, plus a second guitarist), I think as early as 1997 or 1998. It's one of the few songs from the old Features canon (they made several unreleased albums) that are still played today, although according to the most recent bootlegs I have (2003, I think...anyone wanna hook me up with the new stuff? I got a lot of the old), they play it in quite a different capacity.

Still, you can download the Features' "Thursday" epic on this very site. Go to thefeatures.com, ---> audio/video, ---> view full discography, ---> thursday single (released in 1999 on Spongebath Records, their former label). And yes, it still has the whistling. biggrin.gif
