Give me a fucking break.  Clogging up the Knoxville music scene?  Like the Features are keeping all of the 'real' Knoxville talent from being discovered?  Unless you are in Superdrag, you need to shut the fuck up, because that's the only good band your town has ever produced.  And if you are in Superdrag, you already had your shot, you fucker.

And so, you fucking dick, I challenge you right now to post on this board what a 'real' 'talented' band is.  Go ahead and name names.  I dare you...

This is awesome... and by awesome I mean totally sweet! I always suspected that lawnwrangler and jamiecarrol might be ninjas. But now that we've seen them verbally flip out and kill someone, I know for sure!!!

Seriously, though, I don't expect our new friend to come back. What possesses people to go to a site dedicated to a particular topic and trash that topic (and all of its fans). It's amazing what people will say when they can hide behind a keyboard.

it's nice to actually read some criticism. however, i wish it were constructed better. i have a suspicion that it's a member of senryu. maybe rollum could challenge the culprit to a fight with foils. don thy screen mask varmint, and prepare for a lashing.

Sorry, wrong. It was no member of Senryu. We had a good time, and are not into band-bashing. It would be pretty stupid to go to a band's own message board and bash them. If it was somebody who supports us, I wish they hadn't. This is not how we feel at all. We passed up on a headlining show at Bluecats to play with the Features, and we don't regret it. They are great.
I'm sure that they appreciate your passion for their music. All bands should be so lucky. Please don't associate our band with these negative comments.

Wil Wright - Senryu

As many of you know I am a fan of Senryu.  I can guarantee you that the features bashing is not being done by any fan of Senryu, and certainly not by any member of the band.  I assure you that Wil speaks for the entire band and fan base.  While the features aren't my style of music, I respect them as musicians.  I wish that all you features fans would do the same for Senryu.

While my initial opinion of Senryu's music hasn't changed, as I haven't seen them again, I have developed a certain respect for the way their members and fans have handled themselves lately on this board.

I can't help but laugh at this guy. He's on no mission, but just sits behind the comfort of his keyboard and types stuff just to see what he can get started. I dealt with stuff like this a lot last fall when I was teaching the 8th grade.

that's funny, everyone who works at bluecats (door people, bartenders, sound guys, etc) seems very nice & hospitable to all the bands (more so than most club staff). if you're such a big fan of the club, you should follow their example & be NICE.  and i'm not trying to bash you, i guess we're all just trying to understand where you're coming from here.
