I was in the street team for this show, we were going to see the band but they were too tired and just left. Oh yeah, happy Birthday Rollum, well...yesterday...anyway. Pretty good set overall, they started with the beginning(week one). I think Matt dedicated Exorcising Demons to Rollum for his birthday. They also played Gated of Hell, Hold you Alone and quite a few from the album including Me and The Skirts, Blow It Out, That's the Way it's Meant To Be(New Single) then finished on Thursday. The crowd seemed pretty into them too. The second date is tonight so hopefully I will get to meet them this time. I'll give the details tomorrow.

Was it Rollum's birthday, or Nathan's?

I was there to see KOL, but the features blew me away. Bought the album on the way out. excellent stuff. But sad to see that there is no gates of hell on the album. what is that? is it a cover? where can i get it?

Also, what was the last yoddling song they did. that was the best song of the night... best song and best performance was that song.

"Gates Of Hell"? A-wha? Have the Features finally perfected their "Gates of Steel" cover but with an added demonic twinge?

The second night was EVEN BETTER!!! So i'll just talked in chronological order. So me and my friend arrived at 6:30, did some street team stuff etc. Then we handed back the clipboards to see the features. We were at the very front again!Brilliant setlist, they played Leave it All Behind but what surprised me is that they didn't play Blow It Out. When they finished we were back for more street team stuff for about 20 minutes, people were more interested now they had seen them. By the time we were done the Kings of Leon were on and we were as far back as you can get. So I made a wager with my friend, he seemed really optimistic we could make it to the front. So we got about 3/4 of the way back from the stage....then they played four kicks. It's a short song, but a lot can happen in that time! By the end of that song..someway, somehow, we were in the third row from the front! Caleb himself threw about 20 plectrums in total..none of which I caught.. So they finished a great set and so, me and my friend met up at the merchandise...soaked to the skin in sweat, water and beer. So then we got our stuff signed (I'll post pics later) and got to wait for everyone to leave so we could meet the band. While we were waiting we talked to Matt who was organising with the mailing list and had a very long conversation on "American" football and "soccer" as you may call it. We also found he was a Chelsea fan...despite wearing a Manchester City top. So anyway, we then got our photo with the band to go on the site later (oh the anticipation!). After that, we talked to Matt and he told us they are recording their new songs in September when they go home. There was something else too but i'll post that in the more relevant section. Oh yeah, it wasn't Rollum's birthday yesterday, Matthew said on stage it was someones birthday, the name sounded like Rollum and do everyone began to think that. I discovered that his real birthday is in October. His exact words were "how did that rumour get around." So all in all that was one HELL of a concert. let me just say thanks to the KOL for letting the features support again, i don't think it could have worked out better any other way.
