The venue was quite odd...

First off, great job to the features! Right away the crowd warmed up to them and seemed to get into their style. It seemed to me that a good number of people signed their mailing list, and looked at their merchandise, which is good.

When I got there, my friends and I felt uncomfortable because, well, we were standing amid a bunch of art waiting to enter a yoga studio that resembled the Globe Theatre, what with the round balcony and all... So, we congregated outside. But, no matter. The show was great still.

To be honest I had never heard of The Features before this show. I basically came to see Spoon. But I must admit that The Features put on one hell of a show and gained a fan in myself and some friends who cam with me. I drove about an hour from Louisville, KY and it was well worth the drive, especially since we got there and found out it was sold out so we just waled in the back door for free. I hope they come out with a full length sometime soon because thay definitily have the talent. Oh yea and by the way Crooked Fingers sucked. Spoon and The Features were both great.

Show was awesome. It didn't seem like very many people knew them but by the end there was a huge crowd around the merchandise table so I think they got a good reaction. This show wasn't as good as the one last week. I also wish they would've played longer after driving so far! Oh, and I honestly think I scare Matt. I was front row & center just snapping away with my little camera and taking pictures when they were setting up. I think I made him really nervous. Anyways, I got some good pictures and some good video recordings. But yeah, they rocked as always.

Maybe it's the crowd response. I don't know. All the best shows are in Murf, Nashville, or Knoxville. I doubt anyone would contest that.

Welcome Trab. Please post more often, except where it suggests new cover songs for the Features.

Yeah, that would make sense. I think it was also more fun at Vandy trying to figure out who was who.

You probably figured out who I was, then, since apparently my look screams "Digsy."

Well, I wasnt completley sure about anyone but I had my guesses. I was kinda in an odd spot so I didn't get to see very many people though. Next time! Next time I will say hi to everyone, even if I dont think they are MB members.
