TOPIC: Recording at Shows?

Would anyone know if the Features have a policy concerning the recording of their live shows? I'm going to the show on the 13th in Nashville and was considering bringing my Korg multitrack recorder.

Thanks for your help!

Unless things have drastically changed, they really don't care one way or another. Just don't sell it. That pisses people off.

Rollum recently (well, not that recently) commented that those sort of productions are alright. I think it creates a certain atmosphere that further excites die-hard fans, but also gives new fans an opportunity to hear the difference between the live stuff and the album and EPs. Also, the sheer number of songs the Features have to play is not well represented by the (counting) 23 songs on "The Beginning," "Exhibit A," and "Contrast." There's so much more.

I forgot to mention singles and b-sides and vinyl - as those are important, but less accessible.

Alright...

Today I got the okay from the band and the venue...so i think we're good to go. If anyone is going to the show...I'll be the loser in the back with the audio eqipment that's not the sound guy. My name is Hollis (duh).

Whoa. There's a Hollis on the Features message board now??? That is awesome. I once met a man named Hollis, but I doubt it was you. Unless you're like sixty-something, were selling a 65 Thunderbird convertible, and used to be record country comedy records in the sixties...

Anyway, yay for the show on the 13th!
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

Oh, do come by and say hello! You should wear a nametag or something.
