Rhythm & Brews - Chattanooga, TN
Opener: El Toro Blanco (or something like that)

Set List:

Exhibit A
Walk You Home
Kari Ann
Dark Room
Two by Two
Arcadia
Exorcising Demons
There's a Million Ways to Sing the Blues
The Way It's Meant to Be
Leave it All Behind
Blow it Out
Bumblbee
"Are You Alone" new song
See You Through
Mosis Ptosis
Thursday

Encore:
Stark White Stork Approaching
Circus
Situation Gone Bad
The Beginning

I think that's it. I believe the encore is in the correct order, but the regular set is just what I can remember.

Ray Davies and I went, and we both really enjoyed the show. The Features were extremely good. I heard lots of people talking about how "tight" they were. They seemed especially tight after hearing the opener, which left much to be desired. I'd have to say "Circus" was the best song of the night. Sadly, the crazy Chattanooga dancers weren't there, so it was a little less lively than most Chattanooga Features shows. At first, the place seemed dead because nobody was standing up...but then people finally got up right before The Features went on. The crowd was enthusiastic, and a lot of people were singing along. I heard some kids behind me talking about how "fresh" The Features sound, so that's good.

The show was wonderful, and it was well worth the short trip there and back. I'm very happy we went.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

The show was wonderful. There was a guy there who looked like John Kerry and he was trying to get James Riot and myself to dance with him. The guys sounded wonderful and I hope they come back to Chattanooga soon. It was great to see you Sexy Sadie and Ray Davies. Come back soon!

"Arcadia"?
= The new "Pack it Up" song* (I think-- better call Meeks and make sure). They've been playing it the last few shows. Good stuff.

(*This is according to Stopforme on the Rocketown thread)

That's what Matt anounced it as before they played it. I'd still be calling it "Pack it Up" otherwise.

Wow, not many posts -- must not have been too many "regulars" there. I'm really sorry I missed it. sad.gif
