I was really interested in seeing the support act for Kings of Leon. I wanted to see what the record company came up with... I have to say both my partner and I were blown away by your band. After a disappointing Basement Jaxx warm up, THE GO TEAM last week in Birmingham, we wondered who would be the Kings top trumps.

Really good set and in the end the crowd warmed to you. A great choice reflecting the sound of KOL. You have a great future ahead of you guys!

Hey what a night- we're all excited! As a Swindon local and mad Features fan (so I'm admittedly biased) it's easily the best gig we've had at the Oasis. In case anyone's interested here is the Features set:

The Beginning (Week One)
There's A Million Ways To Sing The Blues
The Way It's Meant To Be
Exorcising Demons
Arcata
Exhibit A
Foundations Cracked
Me & The Skirts
The Gates Of Hell
Mosis Ptosis
Leave It All Behind
Hold You Alone
Thursday

So 13 songs, not bad for a support slot. It didn't start too well- I couldn't hear hardly any keyboards on "The Beginning" and Matt seemed to miss a lot of the words, but after this the set grew and grew. It was helped by the fact that the audience were loving it! Plenty of audience participation on the hand clapping bits on TWIMTB and The Gates Of Hell and generally great enthusiasm Both the two new songs were awesome, the Gates Of Hell seems a bit of a departure for the band, with an almost falsetto vocal, great tempo changes and another great whistling bit to boot!

Full marks to all four of them for turning up at the Merchandise stall at the end to chat to everybody. They must have shifted loads of cd's. Well done guys!
