Despite myriad little problems & a late start time, the show last night was solid. It was my first time hearing the "new" songs live, and I was even more impressed than I had been by the recordings. Straight from the horse's mouth:

Circus
There's a Million Ways to Sing the Blues
Walk You Home
That's the Way It's Meant to Be
Look Out Below
Exorcising Demons
Idea of Growing Old (Thanks for the wedding shout out : )
See You Through
Me & the Skirts
God Save Rock 'n' Roll
Leave It All Behind
The Beginning
Exhibit A
Thursday

Thursday had a super-punked out ending that I hadn't heard before-Rollum was in top form. I missed not having the usual Nashville crowd, but it was a pleasure to make the acquaintance of BrianW, Ms. T, Ms. V., and various other Laurens. Always a joy to worship at the altar of brianeno2 as well...if ever the world needed a savior, now is the time.

Shit, Lauren. You know, I completely forgot about this show until about 3pm yesterday. I was thinking for some reason that it was next Saturday. What sucks is that I could've gone last night, as I didn't have any plans in Nashville. I'm sorry. Oh Mr. Eno2, I'm sorry!

Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

That does suck!!! It would've been so much more fun if you could've come- I would've forced you to join in my Features interpretive dance. But the opening bands were nothing to write home about, so you would've come a long way for a relatively short pay off. Although brianeno2 did mention that he was looking into dethroning you from Queen of the Message Board because of your lack of loyalty.
