I'll be more detailed tomorrow (possibly), but I just got back from the latest show on the UK tour.

Once more they were the best band on all night, and got easily the best response from the crowd, making a lot of new fans along the way. I snagged a set list from Matt, and told him I thought they were great, but that next time they have to play Karie-Ann.

Oh, and the set list was nothing like the set they played in the end, which is a nice touch really to have a bit of improvisation in there...

...and they played "Exorcising Demons", which made my night!

No, "See You Through", "Karie-Ann", "Darkroom" or "Leave It All Behind"... but I can forgive them.

Oh, and I didn't get to tell Rory that they just HAVE to play "D-Con (Radio One)" when they play the Steve Lamacq radio show next week (the radio station is called Radio One).

*fngers crossed*

Well done The Features once more.

*resists temptation to add another smiley*
...and this ain't one of them...

Outstanding news.

Too bad about no see you through, darkroom, and LIAB, but it is good that they're adding variety to the set list.

It's great to have such an energetic new [to the messageboard] fan, by the way.

P.S. I wouldn't hold my breath about D-Con (Radio One).

I think the setlist mostly just serves as a reminder to Matt of all of the songs that they have to choose from.

There was one show at 12th&Porter, though, when I specifically remember them actually using a setlist. I think it was one of the times when the Universal folks were there. It was bizarre - they were just going through the songs like bam, bam, bam, with very little pause between songs. I'm just so used to that 15-30 second (or longer) pause between songs of a Features set.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

I have setlists that they actually used to follow from when I'd see them around 99-00. My favorite one was written on the inner foil from a pack of cigarettes.
