Tues 27 Jan - The Dublin Castle, London ENG

They rocked FRIGGIN' ASS. Easily the best band of the night.

I hope to see them on 5 Feb, too biggrin.gif

This wouldn't happen to be Sharon, would it? If so, welcome. If not, welcome.

No, I'm not Sharon, but she was there too.

I caught The Features twice last year when they played here, and this was probably the best performance (not that there was anything wrong with the others)

I'm looking forward to joining in the bitching on this board - I've only been here a few hours and already it's bloody entertaining

Wednesday 28th January - Camden Barfly.

Bloody marvellous gig. Way better than the headline band.

Picked up some merchandise and had a great time.

Been waiting to see them for what seems like forever (I remember getting the sampler CD thing about 5 years ago, at least).

Now I just have the MP3s and the CD to keep me company... and the thought of the Feb 5th gig too!

Come back soon!

PBR is traditionally cheap and readily available. Which coinciding with that facts that I'm very fucking poor, and a creature of habit makes it an old standby for me. If I had more money to waste, I would probably drink nothing but microbrews.

I'll admit I have yet to really aquire a love for beer. I opt for the ones that have no aftertaste (which for me is Newcastle, Amberbock or Shinerbock) or little taste at all (PBR, Coors light or Mich Light).

If I'm with a big crowd, though, it has to be PBR so I can maintain my indie cred.

For me it's natty light all the way (not reallly, just when I want to get crunked). I tend to like the pale beers ie. Rolling Rock and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Oh, and on the original topic, I think it's kick ass that y'all folksacross the sea are posting and getting to experience the excellent Features shows that we've grown accustomed to. Rock on!!!

I feel that if one could liquify the feet of a sweaty man, beer would be the product.

But, I think this thread was originally about UK shows...Very exciting...I'm glad to see they are going well.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

I'm OK, thanks!! It was just a diagnostic procedure to see what I'd done to my knee (when playing soccer, nearly two years ago). So they just had a look inside it.

It's a bit sore now and I have to keep it elevated, but it'll heal quickly smile.gif

I knew this bass player who was trying to do a cool rock 'n' roll-style kick at Dancin' In The District, and dislocated his kneecap in front of about 1000 people. He finished the song though. I hear it still bothers him sometimes when it's cold.
