Just got done watching the 28 days later DVD, and was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the little girl's father looks exactly like a heavier Parrish?

You're on crack, dude.

Great movie. I much preferred the "radical alternative ending" offered on the DVD. The soldier stuff was lame.

ok, so maybe not exactly, but their IS a resemblance! And yes, me and my roomates all preferred the radical alternate ending. At least the producers realized the soldier part sucked and thought about fixing it.

Naw, it didn't suck at all, just the way they ended it with a shootout did. I really thought the twist as to why the soldiers brought them there ("I promised them girls") just added yet another level of dread and doom to these three people.

And as the director mentions in the radical ending, it would be quite a stretch to pull off a complete blood transfusion and to have the guy say it's cool for him to be the one to do it so easily. Of course I'm sure they glossed over some details in there to present it in on the DVD, but even they admitted they realized it would be hard to pull that over on the audience. I did like the interaction between the three main characters and the guy inside the door though.

I saw this film for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and did not go into it with high expectations. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill zombie flick, but I was actually quite impressed.

I didn't see any alternate DVD endings or director commentaries, but I enjoyed the film the way it was. The army men were much scarier than the infected.

Saying things are infected with RAGE seems a little heavy-handed on the morality, though.
That's so NA.

After the movie, I found myself looking for people infected with rage to jump out of the bushes and kill me. I didn't shake the feeling for about an hour after the movie.

**shudders** eek. I don't want to think about Parrish being related to that movie in anyway. Even though the father was a good guy....well, until the end.

And another thing, why didn't she turn the little girls' eyes away while he was killing her FATHER?
remember that its all in your head.

Not related with what y'all are saying but cinematography in the movie was awesome. Especially the scene where it's over looking the city with that face in the corner and it pans up to the next scene. My favorite part of the movie right there.
