After a suggestion from a co-worker, I watched Arlington Road starring Tim Robbins and Jeff Bridges. This movie went nowhere and had about 3 sub plots and did a very bad job tying them in together. i was bored.
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

Has anyone else had trouble taking Jeff Bridges seriously in any movie since Lebowski? Even with movies that he made before TBL, when I see them now, I keep thinking of him as the Dude.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

I've had this problem too. When I saw "the dude" posing as a respectable businessman in the awful Seabiscuit I just couldn't stop cracking up.
Bill, it was a different time. It was back when we didn't know the Russians were incompetent.
