Last night Ray Davies asked me if I like the movie BackBeat. For those of you who don't know....its a really bad portrayal of the beatles and their lives in hamburg during the early years of their career. plus, they tried to fit in a love triangle. the soundtrack kicked ass. but the story line sucks. just way too many inaccuracies. on a scale of 1-10 give it a 5.

now...discuss!
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

This movie absolutely rules! I'm eagerly awaiting a DVD release (if ever). If you take the fact that it is a dramatization of the Beatles in their early days, I think you can enjoy it more. Do they ever once mention the name "Beatles" in the entire movie? I don't think they do. I think that's really, really cool.

I agree with Carl, and I don't think it's a great movie, but it's still neat to see. The guy who plays Paul looks so much like him that it's scary.
