for some reason, it took me until now to realize that my parent's got this mini series for christmas. damn. it's like tour of duty meets saving private ryan. i highly recommend it.

I watched it for like 5 straight hours with my Grandpa last Christmas. It was pretty cool, except it took a little while to get used to the casting. I'm talking about casting the two wussiest actors of all time, David Schwimmer and Ron Livingston, as WWII soldiers. Still kicked ass though.

i agree about david scwimmer. it's also strange because soap from lock stock and two smoking barrels is in it, as is tommy from snatch. everytime they speak i'm baffled by the lack of an english accent.

i also theorize that you watched this on the reservation. your grandfather showed it to you in a vision, no doubt. it was not unlike the episode of the simspons when bart gets caught trying to gamble at the indian casino. smell you later craig. smell you later forever...ok, not really.
