So I came home last ngiht to find my roomate watching The Blues Brothers. This happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. I remembered that I had never seen the sequel that came out a few years ago. So i went to my place of business and rented the sequel Blues Brothers 2000. and now I know why I never watched it......

This was the most god awful piece of shit ever conceived by Jon Landis.

Tell us how you really feel.

I'm glad I never rented it now. Thanks for the heads-up.

john landis did a voice in Eek! the Cat, that may be irrelevant but does anyone remember that show? One of the greatest cartoons of our time if you ask me. it definitely doesn't help the BB 2000 thing though. I will through my hat in and agree, a horrible piece of shit it was.
Sometime's I'm thinking that I love you, but I know it's only lust.

and for the record, now that I think about it didn't he produce a lot of bad tv shows in the 90s too?

I agree on both accounts.

Of course, I never really loved the original Blues Brothers.

Eek! the Cat
I still talk about how funny that show was! Some of the most memorable cartoon moments I've ever seen were on that show.

Eek! The Cat was great.

The original Blues Brothers is a classic. I just couldn't understand why you would make a sequel when one of the key characters is dead.

Annabelle the cat gave me a chub. Blues Brothers 2000 was awful. All of the artists who took part in that movie lost credibility.
We'll miss you Mr. Hooper.

I had forgotten about Annabelle...which jogged a very fond memory of watching the first episode that includes her and Sharkey the Shark Dog. Even my dad loved it.
