Hey,
Just thought id let people know that if they want to waste their hard earned money, they should go and see Creep. I went on Thursday, and it was so bad it was funny!
The film is about this thing (looks kind of like a human but is 'horribly' deformed) that lives under a railway line that goes around randomly killing people.
A young woman gets stuck in the station at night and is desperately trying to escape. She enlists the help of some homeless junkies (and their pooch) who are living in the station to help her get out.
****If you are crazy enough to want to go and see this then look away now because im going to discuss the ending****
The woman meets several people along the way, all of whom get killed in pretty violent and bloody ways. She is the only one who survives and then the film abruptly ends.
Creep looks as if it will be a surprisingly good watch for 30mins approx into it, but from then on it goes down a very steep hill. As soon as you see what is killing people (the-similar-to-a-human Creep thing) the film becomes almost funny, as you are no longer scared of the unknown and the film makers try but fail to prolong your horror by repeatedly showing the Creep's face.
The Creep gets killed in an original but rather disgusting way - the young woman plunges a hook into his neck and throws the other end of the rope across the train track. A train comes along and pulls the Creeps neck out! Ugh!
What is most confusing, is that there isnt much storyline, or discussion of the plot so you never get to find out why the Creep killed people or what it actually was. Except you could make a guess at a crazed doctor or a posessed baby that had grown up very confused.
Oh well... maybe they will make a horror movie worth seeing sometime soon...
