NewsRadio's first two seasons are coming to DVD soon. They were going to be released in February but Paul Simms (the creator) decided to actually do some special features, pushing the release date back. I know no one probably cares, but it's a DVD box set that I'm looking forward to.
I care. I loved that show.
News Radio and Sports Night are two of the most underrated television programs ever.
I agree about the latter, but not the former. But I still would not shell out my hard-earned grip for
Sports Night on DVD. Let me break it down for ya'll. Here are the only shows I would be willing to buy on DVD:
-Party of Five (best TV drama of all time)
-Kids in the Hall
-Seinfeld
-the Simpsons
-Family Guy
I may be leaving out something, but I don't think so. That's not to say that those five are the only great TV shows out there. Those are just the only ones that are good enough (and re-watchable enough) for me to want to purchase.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.
