Surely I'm not the only one here who is giddy in anticipation of this?

Loved the books (need to re-read them, actually), and I can't wait for the movie. Well, assuming they don't screw it up. Douglas Adams wrote the script before he died though, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I shamefully must admit I know nothing about this but I am exited because Martin Freeman is in it (Tim from the Office). I guess I should read the books before I see it.

I spent a good while looking up info on this last weekend instead of working on a paper, and I'm excited. Of course, it's because of Martin Freeman's involvement; it's about time Tim got a leading role! And Zooey Deschanel doesn't hurt either...

i can't wait....we were obsessed with it back in the day...
