i was thinking about in the mouth of madness and what a great film and i wanted to share. i hate horror movies though, so i need some movies that are kinda creepy but not bloody and won't keep me awake at night.
did anyone see identity?
thank you for being a friend.

You've probably already seen it, but I would suggest Primal Fear. It just has a little blood, but it's great...and it stars the beautiful Ed Norton.

Of course, I would also suggest Alfred Hitchcock films because they are quite creepy and don't involve much blood. You may have already seen all of them, but I suggest: Rear Window, Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, The Birds, Marnie, or Rope...

The People Under The Stairs.
you're everybody's second home
always trying to get me alone
an easy way to lose it all
always there when all else fails

The People Under The Stairs.
Fuck yeah. A classic.

I'd recommend Donnie Darko.

On a side note, House of 1000 Corpses was surprisingly good. I didn't take it seriously when I first heard of it being directed by Rob Zombie and all.

Agreed. It was exactly what it was supposed to be and it was outstanding. One of my roommates has the DVD, so I hope to watch it again soon.

It was enjoying to watch Rainn Wilson of "Six Feet Under" fame...well most of it was enjoyable...

Overall, I wasn't really impressed, and I went in knowing it was nothing great. I guess after watching "Nekromantic II" nothing is going to gross me out.

True. I don't think it gets much worse than Nekromantic II.

I saw American Splendor last night. It was a fabulous movie. I can't remember the last time I just thoroughly enjoyed a flick. I highly recommend it.

My dad recommends this Indie film called "Mindwalk"......I havent seen it myself, but my dad (who's this old hippie guy) says that its good. It has something to do with systems of thinking?.....yeah, so someone find it and let me know if my dad is good at picking out movies.

Right Right,

I also recommend "A Clockwork Orange" to anyone who amazingly has not seen it.

Also, "Easy Rider".....gotta get the classics in.

Hopefully all have seen those movies.

It IS great- my cool 7th grade teacher showed it to us. Not sure if it was supposed to pertain to history or what...but it was good

But that would mean I hadn't been to the theater in about 10 years (unless there was some sort of re-release I was unaware of).

By the way, I'm a huge Chris Elliott (and Andy Richter) fan, but I don't think Cabin Boy holds a candle to his TV show Get a Life. There have been few funnier shows than that one.

Val Kilmer has the loudest on screen nose I have ever heard. I'm not sure if it's clogged with snot all the time, or if he has a thick forest that the air has to squeeze through.

Oh, I'm sure it's a good movie if you approve of it. I just don't care for the Kilmer of Val.

Speaking of Val Kilmer, I'm very much looking forward to "Wonderland" in which he plays good ol' Johnny Wad. I wonder if they'll be borrowing that posthetic shlong from PT Anderson.
