This one just screams "Substanceless Holiday Blockbuster" for me to get too excited about it. I'll probably get dragged to it and I'll probably enjoy it, though, depending on my mood.

I will say that I think Naomi Watts is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen (aside from my girlfriend). She alone might be worth the $9.

This is the movie that looks like it has terrible special effects to me. The previews of it look pretty bad. I also haven't seen any of the LotR movies, so I'm not jumping all over it simply because it's a Peter Jackson project.

I'll see it anyway probably, and Naomi Watts is hot.

I hereby recant everything I said except the last line. I loved this one.

far too long!!!! the chase bit with the dinosaurs was just....stupid! what the hell?the bits with no dialogue tend to be boring. i cannot take jack black seriously....at any point....never. not after everything else i've seen him in. i keep thinking he's gonna say something funny, it's not but i laugh anyway.

i had the same problem with jack black- the second he started talking i was confused if it was supposed to be comical, but i continued laughing at him anyways...

and that dinosaur bit + a million longing shots = wtf!

Just wait til the DVD comes out. I'm sure there's another hour of stuff we didn't even see.

I bought it on the streets the other day and gave it to a friend before I even finished watching it! I stopped right after the dinosaur bit you guys were talking about. I'd like to know what directors are thinking sometimes. No way the characters don't get squashed; and aside from it being totally unrealistic, it was just dumb. I thought the normal movie was painful to sit through, let alone any extra features they might have.

That part I can accept as creative science fiction. What bothered me so much about the dinosaur chase was that human beings were doing/surviving things that should have killed them

what bothered me was the dumb dinos stumbling over each other and falling off that cliff. my god, who thought that looked cool?

He could have just started throwing up the bad foods like a normal person.
