i guess i liked land of the dead more, just because i have a softspot in my heart for the undead. i liked both a lot though. (i guess i just added in the "vs." so i wouldn't have to start two new threads.)

i'm not sure too many other board members are huge fans of movies like this. this thread could totally bomb. let's pray ben slack sees this.

haha Yeah, your prayers have been answered! I LOVED land of the dead. It really beat my expectations....I think I'm going to see devil's rejects tomorrow or tuesday. I can't wait. Say what you will about Rob Zombie, but I love the guy. He's just too cool!
Let's make this thread the bomb, for sure.

I"m a HUGE fan of horror movies. I'll admit though, I usually wait until they come out on dvd to see them because most these days aren't worth the $8.

I definatley can't wait to see this. I saw land of the dead too and loved it. I saw him on The Carson Daily Show a few nights ago and enjoyed his interview. I learned a lot more about him. He's cool. He said that, yes there are a lot of the same characters in this one, but that it wasn't a sequel because sequels are crap. (or something to that affect). Anyway, want to see this one real soon!

For some reason I saw that too. It was his last show in NYC. Did you watch till the end when they followed Carson back to his room? He just sat down in a chair and drank some vodka or something. Then he just stared at the camera for a min and that was it. It was the weirdest, most awkward thing I've seen on T.V. in a while. Just another reason to hate Carson I guess.

No, I didn't see that part. I don't ever watch that show. It was late and I was flipping around and saw Zombie on and then I turned it when the interview was over. Carson is a goob.

I went and saw Devil's Rejects today, and I really really liked it! It is so different from House of 1000 Corpses (I really liked that one too), and shows how creative Rob Zombie can be as a director. That's one guy I'd love to hang out with some day, so he can put my Munsters collection to shame.
