So I saw this movie at Green Hills this weekend and was very pleased. It is the story of the legendary KROQ dj Rodney Bingenheimer. There are some cool cameos and a great story. Check it out, it may not stay long.

I saw the premier of this movie in LA, and the producer, director, and Rodney were all in attendance and did a Q&A after the movie. It was quite unexpected, but very cool. Also the guy who did the Jennifer Love Hewitt song was there trying to get donations from people. That was way more saddening than the actual movie was. But, yeah, go see it. It is a good film if you like documentary-style movies and are interested in music from the past 40 years or so.

Thanks for the tip. I saw it last night. Pretty interesting-- although HIGHLY disturbing and depressing at times. Great film if you're obsessed with hanging out with celebrities like I am.

I think they mentioned Sina about a dozen times.

Glad you liked it.

I was hoping that Ronald Vaughn, the Jennifer Love Hewitt guy, would have a website but it appears he does not. He was the most memmorable part of the movie.

I once wrote and recorded a tribute to Jennifer Love Hewitt. Maybe you've heard it?
