I have now seen this movie 3 times, and I love it more every time. I understand most of it. The only thing I'm not really getting is the blue box.
does it unlock a dreamworld? is the scary guy in the back of winkie's some kind of god figure, holding a dream box? let's talk about this!

David Lynch is weird for the sake of weird, which I always appreciate. I've only seen the movie twice, and still don't really get it. I think it's supposed to be about broken dreams or something. I dunno.
That's so NA.

The whole damned movie is about movies, and moviemaking, and the movies' relationship to dreams, and the nature of dreams. It doesn't have a literally understandable plot, per say. The blue box certainly isn't meant to actually be anything within the plot. But it does bridge the dream section (the beginning) with the reality section (everything after).

Best scene ever: the Silencio Lounge. Which is a commentary on the unreliability of the union of sound and picture in movies. You think the sound and the picture are united in a movie, but they never really are.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

I've seen it twice. It's intriguing and beautiful, but I don't understand it at all.

Mulholland Drive is one of the few movies that I did not understand but really, really enjoyed nonetheless. I've only seen it once and would love to see it again.

Yes, that scene is the best.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

ive watched this twice. the first time, i was in some sort of flu delirium and thought i understood most of it. i watched it again the other day and ended up being more confused then the first time.

naomi watts looks very different in the last part than in the first part. different enough that i (nor people i was watching it with) couldnt even tell if it was the same person. which made it that more confusing.

i did like it, though.
