is bravo only about ruining peoples lives or are the people on this show set on ruining their own lives?

i hate laura.

I hate Laura too. I don't think Jeffrey will get kicked off. Maybe they'll disqualify him from the judging part though.

i hate laura, too. but i mean you really can't blame her for calling him out if he actually did cheat. plus, going by what their collections looked like so far, his was definitely my favorite. and if he does get sent home, then laura's was definitely the second best. and i just don't know if i could stand seeing laura get jeffrey kicked off and then win the damn thing herself, even if it is fair. i love uli, but she seems even more limited in variety than laura does. i like her flowy dresses, and i like that she uses color and prints, but i almost always hate the print she chooses. i really love michael and, before seeing some of his collection, had him pegged to win. what they did show of his collection was disgusting. i don't know what happened.

and what's up with all of the designer's having really amazingly nice houses?

We saw Jeffrey crying in the next episode, but could they be tears of relief/frustration? He admitted to getting "pleating" done. I don't know what that means, but could that be considered cheating? It was like he was saying, "I didn't cheat... much."

Laura is just grotesque. Personality-wise, she can be hilarious, but I just can't stand her skeletal mishapen form and mannish face. I think her house (flat?) is nice because she married for money. They looked like a pretty sterile couple.

I think Uli's place is that single room we saw with that nice view. I would imagine nice views are pretty common in Miami, though.

Jeffrey's place looked pretty cluttered to me. His studio was huge, but what about the neighborhood?

Michael probably still lives with his mom.

Keep in mind that Chloe's collection looked like crap last year when we were getting a first look. They may have only shown us Michael and Uli's bad stuff to lull us into thinking it's all about Jeff and Laura. I bet it's Michael. "Street" is still in, right?

According to my wife, who is scarily into this season (don't get me wrong, I do like me some PR), Jeff's mom and Laura's mom became pretty good friends during the family episode. They had been talking almost daily when Jeffrey's mom let it slip about the hard work "they" were doing on his line (they being Jeffery's assistants). Malaprop on Jeff's mom's part or did she accidentally sell her son out? We'll see next week.

I'm surprised nobody has talked about Gene Shallot...I mean Laura's husband. It's obvious she married him for the money. I don't hate her, but the thought of her and her husband having sex makes me cringe.

The idea of Laura winning makes me want to gag. Her white boney ribcage can suck it, as can her side of the mouth talking "voish". I'd rather have uli win. All I can do is pray that Michael's collection is more than it seems...

I don't know what happened to Michael, I really don't. I don't hate Laura, I'm sorry. I think she's a total bitch, but I save my hatred for Jeffrey. I bet Uli is going to pull an upset - there was no way I thought Chloe was going to win until the runway show last season. Daniel V was the favorite (like Michael is now). Uli takes it.

im verklempt. a project runway discussion.

i have been dissappointed with both winners from the previous seasons.. this season, i could see laura winning. sure all of her stuff is really really similiar, but it ties together. uli's stuff can't be worn by anyone who doesnt live five minutes from the beach.. michael was awesome, until we saw bits of his collection.. (what happenedt here?) i like jeffery, but looks like he was voted off because his mom has loose lips. he has the strongest collection from what we've seen so far.

now, i thought that they COULD hire outside help as long as they were paid out of the budget they received and not out of pocket or as favors?

if jeffrey doesnt get kicked off, im picking him to win based on the glimpses we got last week. i wouldnt necessarily wear his style, but i like it a hell of a lot more than lauras boring cocktail dresses, ulis hippie dresses, and michaels slut-wear.

if not jeffrey, im picking uli. im hoping that her collection is much more toned-down and sophisticated than what we saw during the season.

im sure that laura married for money, but shes also an architect=loaded.
michael definitely lives with his mom.
ulis place looked empty and depressing, aside from the ocean view.
im sure jeffreys house is cool, but small. his wife seems cool.

but now that ive seen the collections i kind of feel like uli should have won. i think they are all going to be very successful (even michael: even though his collection sucked, hes dating brandy).

Based solely on the runway, I think Uli should have won. Jeffrery looked like a high-end Hot Topic, Laura looked like a sparklier Banana Republic (remeber them??), and Michael looked like a low-end Rue 21.

final collections always stress me out. i'm just left so confused. i hate the idea of having to pick a winner solely based on these 12 looks. i guess i'm happy that jeffrey won (like i thought he would), though i agree that some of his looks were a little friday night at rcktwn. boo to laura because who does an entire evening wear show when they only warned her against it like 38 times (some of those dresses were really cute though)? no one told micheal that leopard print and gold is disgusting. uli did really well but i don't think i'll ever be able to get over thinking those prints are ugly. i guess i hate hot weather. jeffrey's family is adorable (i wish he'd cut his style-mullet so he could fit in).

thank god jeffrey won! i don't know why i get so excited over these things...

we watched the re-run at work and all agreed that we would have been at peace if anyone won.. with the exception of michael who really really made us feel "underwhelmed".. i think it was so much of the pressure being put on a pedestal on the show, he couldn't live up to the hype. but i can see some of the higher paid callgirls wearing his stuff.

i too thought uli's collection was better, which was a surprise. i thought it was going to be 12 takes on the same dress, but was pleasantly surprised.

I thought he was so ugly he was kind of cute in a skinny Albert Einstein sort of way. If they've had six kids, it must be more than money.

I finally got to watch my tape of the last three episodes. I was pleased with the outcome. I liked Jeffrey's and Laura's best.
