It's been a long time, I'm assuming we talk about TV here. Man...

But anyway, it debuted last night. I loved it, of course. Pretty much going to be the most important show this season...after "Lost." I loved it so much, I even forgot about how much I used to not like Amanda Peet. She was convincing as something other than a little girl who likes to do old men ("Whole Nine Yards" "Something's Gotta Give").

Yeah, the Peace Froggette and I looked at each other and wondered aloud in the first 3 minutes why we were even watching this. It was crack from moment one, and now we have yet another TV show to add to the must list.

Top notch all around. Timothy Busfield made every director that's been in a train wreck situation grin an evil grin.

The first ten minutes, amazing. They nailed how tense it can get in a control room, perfect. I'm curious as to how this show is going to work; will each episode be about one particular episode, tape night? Or will it span days? I dunno, that's usually how "Sports Night" worked. I have a feeling this will be better than "Sports Night."

Matthew Perry was outstanding. I think most people are split about Peet. I loved her, oddly. She's pregnant now so that's a big monkey wrench in Sorkin's plans, I'm sure.
