So, i recently saw this flick, and i gotta say i was impressed. American filmakers could really learn a thing or two from this movie. From start to finish, the Grudge is one intense ride. I'm masculine to say it made me jump well more than once. I think Sarah did an amazing job! So talented. wub.gif Anyway, have any of you seen this movie yet?

saw it this weekend, and it definetly made me feel like a sissy little girl. i don't deal too well with horror flicks anyway, and this one was pretty dang scary.

but... man... i dunno. sarah michelle gellar can't act for crap. so many woodenly delivered lines i almost couldn't help but laugh.

the plot wasn't the most intricate thing ever, but all in all the movie delivered some pretty good scares. that chick's face kept popping up in my head that night while i was trying to sleep.

We saw The Grudge on Sunday and it was creepy, but there were way too many unanswered questions. It was (pardon me) bittersweet to see Sarah Michelle Gellar because Buffy isn't on anymore (Sigh). We saw it with an audience who dealt with being afraid by laughing hysterically at EVERY scene. And what was the deal with the kid meowing?!

It was okay, but not as crazy creepy as I was expecting. I think that Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of the best actresses I've ever seen, but her character wasn't all that well written or developed. If I want to be scared, I need to watch those Unsolved Mysteries box sets that just came out.

There are three box sets with 3 discs each, all highlighting a different topic. There is the miracles one (screw that), the Ghosts one, and the UFO one. Those last two are at the top of my DVD purchasing...until Nov. 16.

Buffy season 7, Elf, and the Office Christmas Special. Much more important than Unsolved Mysteries.
