*Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
*Capote
*Good Night, and Good Luck
*The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardobe,
*Pride & Prejudice (will likely suck, but I have to)
*Brokeback Mountain (I have decided the porno title of this will be "Bareback Mounting")
*Is that Sarah Silverman movie going to make it here?

and probably others. Someone take me out.
That's so NA.

I am very excited about the Goblet of Fire-it was a dark book, and Voldemort makes an appearance, plus lots of weird romances. The Chronicles of Narnia look great even though Disney is doing it.
My dad read the book of the movie Derailed with Clive Owen in it and he said it would be worth seeing, very twisted. That's about it.

I thought it moved very slowly....and I realized that the point of the movie was to make a legend human. Well, I already thought of him as a human to begin with. The acting is good, I have no beef with that. Maybe not the best idea to let Joaquin sing...he's okay, but it's not the same. Reese Witherspoon is a much better singer than June Carter, so that wasn't so bad. It was just a standard biopic, I guess I was expecting more.

Harry Potter, on the other hand, was fucking excellent.
That's so NA.

i saw it, and i thought it was great. the person that i saw it with thought it was really slow, but it should be noted that she read the book and i did not. so, i guess if you havent read the book you should see it? jason schwartzman was the funniest ive ever seen him.

I liked Shopgirl. I thought it was a really good movie, but I was a tad disappointed because I had really high hopes. I think it was great, but it's just not something I could watch over and over again...which is sad because I'm a huge Steve Martin and Jason Schwartzman fan.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

i saw wolf creek too, but i can't decide if i liked it or not. something about it was cool, but something about it was, well...not.

There is no better combination in the world than intense violence and lots of boobs. As a matter of fact, it is what I'm expecting with my newly single status.

No, but it's from the genius who brought us Cabin Fever. The lore goes that early moviegoers were spotted collapsing from the intense gore and whatnot. Ambulances were necessary in some cases. I'm sure that's typical urban legend.

The reviews I've read were pretty mixed. According to Tarrantino (spoiler?) the premise is basically that these American kids on a european vacation stumble into a fantasy-camp of sorts for Russian mobsters. Instead of sports, though, the game is torture and the playing field is their young, nubile bodies!

I should write movie reviews.

I saw the preview in front of Saw 2. Lion's Gate is putting out some fairly good horror\terror movies.

that premise is not entirely correct, but it gets the job done.

i saw it on a sunday night and the theatre was packed. so i'm not suprised it was number one.

i don't know if i can imagine the gore in that movie actually making someone pass out, but i guess i'm not easily phased by it.

also, i thought cabin fever was pretty good for what it was. i think it just came out at the same time as a bunch of movies that would attract a similar "horror"-loving audience, but were shit. plus i love that hot rider strong.

holy shit, i can. i had to walk out of the theatre after the first five minutes of "scream." - not even a REAL horror movie-

my friends (who all know that i have a horrible diversion to blood and gore and watching people get tortured)
all convinced me that it was HILARIOUS and the blood wouldn't bother me.

fucking cunts.
