i watched When Harry Met Sally this afternoon out of pure nostalgia. i love this movie. maybe i love it too much. my mother used to watch it all the time and she gave it to me for xmas last year because out of all 3 of my siblings, i was the only one who appreciated those many afternoons of billy crystal and meg ryan. actually, during today's said viewing, i decided that When Harry Met Sally is on my top 10 movies of all time.

so...what does everyone else think of this film?
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

It came of TV last Sunday and I enjoyed it. It's not my favorite but I can watch it every now and then.

One of the better romantic comedies, and I can provide a reason that I think this: it doesn't excuse the male perspecive. To me, Annie Hall and When Harry Met Sally succeed for this reason, and I like High Fidelity for the same reason, though I think it excuses the female perspective the way most romcoms excuse the male.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

I've never seen the movie so I didn't vote in the poll.

I also didn't vote in the poll because this thread isn't a poll.

True of False?
Kate Hudson has stolen Meg Ryan's career.

Discuss.

(though it is true that Kate Hudson has been on hiatus with that whole getting pregnant thing).

I love When Harry Met Sally. I have a special fondness for romantic comedies, and I feel it is one of the bests. And, I think Billy Crystal is really cute at the beginning of the movie.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?
