No respect for the classics.

If you vote for Circus over 33 1/3, you're not my friend.

Well I voted for Burma over it, so I'm most likely not your friend.

Other disappointments: Don't Lie To Me (although TWIMTB was very tough competition), Roger's Theme losing to Your Smile, and the biggest disappointment: Situation Gone Bad gone after round 1.

Biggest Surprise: Damage Is Done beating Kari-Ann.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

The seedings definitely put the action on early. D-Con has never done well in these, and Circus will likely go at least through the Final Four.

I have a sneaking suspicion which song will win, and I have vowed to vote against it every step of the way.

Only two upsets? Man, we gotta mix it up a bit. This is playing out like the women's bracket.
Bill, it was a different time. It was back when we didn't know the Russians were incompetent.

Nice work with the seeding, JC. I think the lack of upsets shows that most songs were appropriately placed. Hopefully, though, we'll see more action in the later rounds.

I would like to thank the five other people who voted for this song. Some day, it will make it to the second round.

Someone needs to find a way to let me hear "Damage is Done".

Any song that can knock out my favourite Karie-Ann deserves to be heard...

...and then CURSED TO HELL!!!!!

To me, this is a major upset. I voted for Damage, but didn't think that it would survive a battle with Kari-Ann.

Next year, y'all. next year. elite eight for Mosis Ptosis, at least.

(8) Exhibit A - 12
(9) Serious - 13
I'm pretty shocked by this. Next year, I have a feeling that Exhibit A will make it a great deal further.

(2) Walk You Home - 11
(15) Harder 2 Ignore - 14
I'm surprised that more people didn't vote for Harder To Ignore.

I definitely agree. Next year, we could be dealing with a board twice this size with the promotion of the album and the tour. If that's the case, I predict that the album tracks will dominate the tournament. (I'm assuming that Exhibit A is an album track because of the working title).

I think it was close because Walk You Home is such a long-standing favorite for many.

Sucks that Golden and Mosis Ptosis are out already, but RichardD is right; they'll be stronger next year.

What's wrong with Action? I think it's one of their most dynamic songs.

Most dyanmic? I disagree. It's just a bunch of repetitive screaming. It doesn't hold a candle to their other masterpieces. I think this is their most overrated song (although it seems that Golden will soon be giving it a run for its money).

lyrically, action is one of my least favorites. it's repetitive and rather trite. the energetic screaming is the only thing that saves it. but muscially, it's badass. one of my favorites to hear live. perfect.

When I say dynamic I mean tempo changes, intensity changes dramatic volume changes. I mean c'mon, the part where it get's completely silent except for the bass...with Roger whispering *action* getting louder, and louder and louder, until you get AAAAACTION again. it gives me chills. i'm going to request it at bluecats.
