TOPIC: 04FeaturesNCAA Champion is...

In 2002, "Circus" defeated "Oh My Love" in the championship.

Last year, "Buffalo Head" was the champ, defeating "Circus."

This year...it was a blowout. 16 people voted, and the final tally was 13 to 3. The winner?

"Harder to Ignore"

Who the hell would've thought before this started that this song would win the entire tournament?

Thanks to everyone who took part in this! It was so much fun, as usual.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Yay! This turned out just as I'd hoped.

I'm so proud of you, Harder to Ignore.

And thanks again, JC.

From its humble beginnings over a year ago where most everyone didn't know what to make of it, to this. At first I thought that this song would be lost in the sands of time, but when they debuted the current version (which I have on videotape) on April 27th, 2003, it was obviously a new Features staple.

Great.

It'll always have a special place in my heart as "The Pants Getting Tighter Song." I didn't vote this time, but I'm glad it won.

I have to brag and say I picked it kinda early on (though not before the entire thing).

I will be voting against it every round, but I'm gonna predict Harder To Ignore winning in a big upset (at least as far as seeding is concerned).
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Me!
I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to jinx it.

I just hope that "Circus" also made the album.

But I'm just as not worried as I am about "Harder to Ignore"...
