hey, anyone else here in Atlanta going to the Live X on Thursday??? i was really shocked when my best friend called & told me to listen in...i thought she had to have the dates wrong...but oh no. so anyway...i'm in...anyone else????

me either! as far as i can tell they are only doing this Live X...probably to then be played right before the Roxy show...that's what i am assuming since they aren't doing it when they come FOR the Roxy show...

anyway...hope someone else from the board besides me gets to go...trying to get some of our other old-school CV/Sparta friends who are now down here to try to cut out of work & get in somehow...(my friend may bale, in which case i can take someone else!)

just got back from the Live X! i don't wanna post a set list as it will be available on the web for download (for those not in normal 99x radiowave frequency) nor do i want to spoil the fun for anyone here in Atlanta when it debuts. but they did a 5 song set...4 from the album & 1 older cut. the sound was great & the crowd was good - especially for a taping in the middle of the day. i was on the front row over to stage left...it's a small space though so there really wasn't a bad spot.

i will let everyone know when it goes up on the web if someone else doesn't beat me to it!

I guess it will be awhile. This week is Razorlight and next week is Collective Soul. Previous artists include the obvious (Keane, FF, Modest Mouse). Considering the company, this seems like really really good exposure for the Features!!

does the CV stand for central view or cookeville or something else? did you find anyone else to go with you?

R&P: as to the CV question...yes, CV = cookeville...it can be a pain in the ass to type that out all the damn type. so, CV it is. you should be up on that one. yert!

& no, i never found anyone to go. my friend who was supposed to bailed & then i found out too late that my friend who i thought couldn't go could. so i was all alone. which was fine. no sweat. i managed to get in the front row which was nice but there was no bad seat b/c the Live Xs are always so small. & then i kinda held up the meet n' greet line shootin' the shit. i think i pissed some autograph seekers off. ah well. i eventually got outta there b/c i had to get back to work so i wouldn't get fired.
