has anyone here ever been to a show where Thursday was not played? I have been to alot of shows but I don't know if I have ever seen a show where Thursday was not played - it's not that I don't like the song I would just like to see it left off the set every once in a while and not at the end of the set everytime

just my .02 cents

No I haven't and it would be fine with me, too. I think God Save Rock n Roll would be a good replacement for the final song.

No, never. But then again, I didn't see the Features until 1999.

even though I like Thursday it always seems disappointing when it starts, because most likely it signals the end of the show. Especially on nights like last night at the boro, since there weren't any encores.

to me it wouldnt be a features show without it. the way the song is and the wya its played it only seems to fit the end of the set...EVERY band has a song like that.
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

I agree. It's a staple. Although it is really sad when it starts, because I know the show is ending, its a good way to end, and it gives me time to prepare for the end.

It is a good signal for being near the end, but most of the time I think, 'This is WAY too soon!' I like it when they're really into the show and I am too, and they play around more with tempos and things, but at their lesser performances it is sort of a bump to go over at the end.

The first time I saw the Features was in '97, before Thursday was written. Other than that, I am doubtful that I've seen a show without it in the 40-some-odd shows I've attended.

Thursday was not played tonight at the Belcourt, but then again it wasn't really a 'normal' show.
