i know this was done a few months back, but since there are so many new songs, just curious to see how you all would pick an album tracklist.

here goes

1. god save rock and roll
2. the design
3. oh my love
4. the idea of growing old
5. exorcising demons
6. blow it out
7. leave it all behind
8. see you through
9. action
10. serious
11. 33 1/3
12. harold
13. circus
hidden track- bufallo head

i know i left out a lot of good songs. perhaps they could pull a wilco and issue a two disc set.

No Darkroom. Interesting.

Yes, there are too many to choose from for one cd.

Wrangler probably won't include it until Matt reveals it's 'real' meaning.

I like both of your listings, I would have to include paid to think somewhere though. Sorry, I've been awake for almost 30 hours and i'm too tired to make a whole list right now, hopefully later.

honestly i just want to be really really surprised when they finally decide to put out a full length...
does anyone know when this life changing event will occur? are they waiting for a label to take interest in order to get them to finance a record and properly distribute one?
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

I don't know, but their CD release party is going to be the best day of my life, whenever it takes place...

Don't worry Mr. Swanson, there's another at blue cats May 4th. I thought I was going to a Nick Cave show while I was in Europe last year, but we were confused (we couldn't read the signs). Our tip-off was when we only paid a 4 dollar cover. It ended up being video footage of Nick Cave standing on a stage making noises into a mic and looping them, pretty strange.

I agree, the day they have a CD release party will pass up the day I was born and the day I finished college and all those other 'milestones'.

I last heard that the songs they're kicking around are about 1/4 old and 3/4 new. I have no idea which ones would be considered 'old' as 2x2 and The Beginning tracks are reaching toward being a year and a half, while Thursday comes near turning 5.

As for my track list, hmmm...

Free Bird
Ice Ice Baby
Ironic
Don't Pull Your Love Out on Me Baby
Cowboy
Oops! I Did It Again
I Had the Time of My Life
The Rainbow Connection (also the 1st single)
(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.
