Actual discussion of the Features is needed. So they said it was their last show at the Boro in January 2003, and they are going to be back there on August 12. How will they fit everyone? Thoughts?

They won't. Be sure to get their early. Also wear comfortable clothes because it's going to be crowded, hot, and humid in there.

God, I'm really fucking excited about this. I hope it's not 21+, but that may be the only way to fit everyone...which now makes me not so excited. I just need The Features in a venue that's not outside...too much fresh air and sunshine for me.
That's so NA.

The fact that they're playing the Boro is the most shocking piece of Features-related news that I've heard in a long time. Is the Boro under new management?
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Let's say that a certain member of the band really wants to play there again. You know, it's coming on the heels of the full length release. I'm sure there's some bygones starting to happen here...

ah, the boro...my fondest boro memory was walking into the bathroom and chancing upon two crackheads cutting up some loot, one of which held up a knife and threatened to kill me if i told anyone what they were doing. can't wait to go back there!

The Boro is one of the easiest clubs to sneak into. Or used to be. It has been awhile.

Holy shit. I can't believe they are playing the Boro again. In my opinion the Boro doesn't deserve them.

Anyway like JC says this is pretty shocking. I mean I'm in "the loop" and I didn't even see this coming.

I hope I can make it because I would like to go back. I haven't been since their last time playing, and I knew when they said it was their last show there that I wouldn't be back. So this is kind of a good thing I think...at least for nostalgic purposes.

i get the whole nostalgia thing, but it seems like logic would overtake that. the infernobar may not be as cool, but at least they wouldn't have to turn people away. well, maybe they were booked or something. either way, i'm excited.

they don't have the garage doors anymore. They replaced them with a sort of nylon tented area, which makes the place a lot bigger and sound a lot better. I am glad the Features are playing the boro again because that is where they always play their best.
