While my girlfriend was watching that new Julia Louis-Dreyfus show on CBS tonight, I heard a promo for the new CBS wednesday lineup...the back up song was none other than the features "blow it out"...needless to say, i was stoked.

I just heard it and my mouth hung open for about a minute. I think that's so cool. Do they have to give permission for them to do that, in other words do they know? What is their reaction to it, for those of you that keep in contact with them. I'm still waiting for them to come back to there hometown, any chance of that happening boys? Keep up the good work.

I mean, I suppose I'm excited and all, but it really pales in comparison to the time it was on Ashlee Simpson's reality show .

even crazier... I have a friend in LA... and Sheboygan!

CBS does have to get permission and clear the rights (read pay) for the song. Very nice having a song on broadcast TV.

Now speaking of Survivor, it's been a pretty decent season so far this year.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Yeah, sending the one chick to Exile Island last week was genius!

I can't believe Shane's tribe is dominating right now. After the selection, I thought it was going to be pretty one sided. I mean, it seemed that the other tribe got the select players from each and every mini-tribe.

It's the first season (with the possible exception of Pearl Islands) where you are really rooting for the dominant tribe. They are just so much more interesting. You have an alliance that hates each other, a karate master, an older larger black lady with no survival skills, a guy that smoked 3 packs a day until the day he set foot on the island, and a girl with big boobs. It's really pretty awesome. The other tribe is pretty much a bore, and you like watching them get decimated. The blonde girl that got sent to exile island is pretty cute though.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

I heard it last week to, on CBS. They should get great exposure and those "jingles" should jingle their pockets as well. Esp. if they get this show into syndication and reruns etc. Wow! Great for our favorites The Features.

My old roomate Cyrus (favorite Features song: Bring on the Night) excitedly called me last night to tell me he heard Blow it Out on a Courting Alex comercial. He hardly ever calls me (or anyone else for that matter), so we can now say the song is reuniting old friends. Or something.

Unfortunately, he's in Chapel Hill, which is not nearly as cool as New York.

I heard the song as well, and was thrilled that it got the airplay that it did. Unfortunately, the comedies didn't seem to do so well in that timeslot, as CBS has now moved The Amazing Race into that 8/7 Central Wednesday night spot.
