I'm glad that I at least get to participate in this roll call. I know there is a show the night before at 12th and Porter, but I was wondering who else would be in attendance for the Knoxville show.
I'm taking my roommate and friend, Josh, who happens to be a Features virgin. YAY.

I'm going to be at this show with 3 other Features fans...hopefully, they will keep "Blow it Out" "Dark Room" and "Serious" still on the set-list as I see it was at the Red Rose. I'll be screaming for them, if not. I wish they would do something totally crazy and cover a Joy Division song out of nowhere. I can't believe this show starts at 8...why so early? Man, I can't wait, my week will be so much better just getting to look forward to it.... and I'll be up front no matter what it takes (hopefully, not too much rudeness..usually, I just rush up front as soon as I see fellowfeaturesfans step one foot closer to the stage as the opening band walks on). Too bad I'm not 21 or I could have 2 nites of features in a row.

It's going to be hard, but I may be there. Anyone know some place I could sleep cheap that night?

Brother Love, PaulFreaksMeOut, and I will probably make the adventurous trip from Vol State country to Knoxville, barring any shit-tastic weather.

Buckley- The doors open at 8. And, there are two opening bands. I think that might have something to do with the schedule. If you think you know who I am, say hey. You're one of the people I have yet to meet from the board.

Wait a minute...Kula Shaker!?!? No way! I got that album with Tatvaa (?)when I was in 7th grade around 1995. I was mad for that song, but never got into the rest of the album that much. I recently sold my copy with some bonus disc to Brother Love for $5 or so.

I have been asking for a cover of "disorder" for some time now.......at the last boro show, message board member "allen" screamed out "she's lost control" and rollum went straight into it. i was overjoyed....but alas, the rest of the band did not follow suit.....

I had been thinking about driving to Knoxville to see the fellas, so I could start my Spring Break off right. But I'm still sort off undecided on it.

Please don't tell me the weather is going to be bad. I thought it was going to be decent. I had to drive from Athens to Nashville thru rain, sleet, snow, and methed-up truck drivers flying up/down Monteagle to see them last time. I'll try to say hi to other Features fans. I've only been spoken to once when a guy, who I assume is a member of this message board, said he liked my J.D. shirt.

That was the Exit/In, and I am indeed of that persuasion. That's one person I'll be able to identify. I checked the weather myself...it's supposed to be rainy, but that's all, so I'll be there. woohoo

As far as when the show starts,shows at Blue Cats...although it has been a while since the features played there, traditionally start late. I don't think I've seen a features show start there before 11:30 or 11:45. Still better than when they were at the Pilot Light, though, and it didn't start till well after midnight.

Weather? The prediction for Friday is mostly sunny and high in the low 60's....but it HAS been really bad lately.

As for me....I'll be there...I haven't seen a show in couple months and I'm dragging along several new fans...

Just look for three superbly-dressed guys who have the appearance that a movie will be made about them, because they are, in fact, so swinging.

Hello, Buckley. If I am fortunate enought to get to go to the Blue Cats show (which is not likely), I will say "hello". You probably didn't see me at Exit-In, but I saw you after Ray Davies told me you had on a Joy Division shirt. So, now you have a couple of people you can say "hello" to.

I'll be sure to look for you. You'll probably have to say hi to me, though, cos I'm not so great at that sort of thing. However, as the features get going, I always warm up, and by the middle of the show I'm usually good "friends" with the person next to me. So what's this I hear about features fans needing to show more love? I always feel the love at features shows. I'm even 5'2'' and I feel the love. I just make sure I get there early and get up front. So that's where I'll be.

I really really really really want to go to the Feature show in Knoxville. It will definitely be the most exciting thing I will do over Spring Break if I get to go. Otherwise, I will sit at home alone, crying all over my pink clothes.

HA. . . it would definitely be the most exciting thing I would do too, if I am able to. Otherwise, I'll probably sit at home and cry all over my clothes which are usually not pink.

Thank you for the welcome Sexy Sadie. Yes, I love the movie "Pretty in Pink" as well as the song by the Psychedelic Furs. Pink is one of my favorite colors so I end up wearing alot of pink clothes, as well. I always hope I look pretty in them. All of these things I took into consideration when I selected my name for the message board.

Traversing Monteagle to see The Features is some kind of an ordeal. This summer I felt my body shut down while driving home from the August Boro show. I'd never felt anything like it, it was worse than falling asleep at the wheel.

Blue Cats is much bigger than the places that Features play in Murfreesboro. Compared to the Red Rose, Blue Cats offers plenty of room to stretch out and/or dance wildly.

I am wondering, is there seating at this place? And, if so, can you still see the stage? I would like to sit during a Features show for once. I think that's why I like the End so much, because you can sit down and still be in front or next to the stage. It's my favorite!

There are (or at least were) tables Blue Cats last time I was there.

the club is about the size of exit in, and there's a platform in the back with tables (as noted by brianw). oh yeah, and i think they have a few tables and stools along the walls on the floor as well.

I love sitting down during concerts since i'm not that big of a dancer (yes, i'm very well aware of how boring and lazy this makes me sound. . . and I assure you I am indeed both of these) at the red rose I ended up sitting outside for the 2nd half of the show and it was great!!! The acoustics were actually much better outside as well.

Sorry Mr. Richard - you won't like this - the new Fire Code capacity at The End is 68 people, because of the tables & chairs.

They are going to take all of the tables & chairs out to try to get a higher capacity, so I guess we can't sit at those leopard tables any more. I liked those little tables, and the pink fuzzy lamp too! =(

Blue Cats is set up like 12th and P. should be. There are tables and chairs, but they are off to the side so that there is plenty of room in front of the stage.

I used to catch people glancing at me at shows sometimes, and I couldn't figure out whether it was b/c I looked weird or b/c they thought they might have known who I was if they were from the messageboard. Now, I think that most of the people I see at shows who even want to know who I am do actually know who I am. So, that's nice.
