You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

setlist off the top of my head... will have to check the tapes for accuracy

circus
the way its meant to be
me and the skirts
walk you home
see you thru
million ways
demons
leave it all behind
the beginning
god save
thursday

probably one or two maybe three more songs... I'll get back to you and modify after I look at the tapes. They played great and a good time was had by all. They played 45 minutes to a good reception (since the modis apperendi there is to fold your arms and stare at the band with layers of lanyards on) I would say there was closer to 150-175 in attendance. And they all freaking cleared out after the Features played. The club didn't have more than 75 there for the rest of the bands. That says something.

The ride down was a bit cramped. They rented a passenger van and took out the two back seats. We sat three abreast the whole trip... Me and Rory are officially married.

Must get sleep.

Before they played i had never heard of the features before, I only went to the bar with my friend because we didn't know of anything specific we wanted to see at that time, and we wanted to drink some martinis at a place we hadn't been to. The bar was dissapointing, the band wasn't. One of the top 3 bands i saw at SXSW, the others were rye coalition and the agenda. I am definatly going to play the band some on my college radioshow, and try and get more people to listen to them in austin.

Does this, by chance, have anything to do with the mysterious "Daigletology"?

A good friend of mine is working as a producer on Pirates... He says his day is essentially filled with being yelled at by Jerry Bruckheimer... He has been on set a few times though (he works outta LA) so he's gotten a few free trips to St. Martin outta it.

Alright, its Halloween. This little boy is dressed as a pirate. He rings the doorbell, and an older woman opens it.

Woman: "How cute, a pirate. Where are your little buccaneers?"
Boy: "They're under by bucking hat"

"Do I look like a pirate to you"... That has always cracked me up, even if it's not a true pirate joke. laugh.gif
