TOPIC: Buffalo Head

I was at the vandy show, a bit drunk, and started thinking that maybe buffalo head is about record executives and their unwillingness to sign the features to a major deal? I dunno, just an idea.
Peace

Digsy, you win my avatar and quote of the week award... I love that show more than any other cartoon ever. So good. The number of Satanism references that made it into the episode where they go to Hell astounded me for Nickelodeon. Filbert was by far the greatest character... I'll stop it.

To stay on topic, my understanding of what Buffalo Head is about (the record exec thing) came about just as I was in a crisis over how Matt could write a song about (what I thought was) female rejection on the heels of becoming a father.

I randomly caught the end of an episode today on Nick2 and it inspired me. I loved Rocko when it was on and I even had a Rocko pocket watch. The episode where they go to the laundry and the shopping market stick out as making me laugh til my little's 7th grade eyes cried. Good times....

No, that's not what I was trying to say, Briggs. I was just trying to shed some additional light on the subject. Sorry.

Did any message board bowling ever happen?
Is there a duckpin bowling place in the Nashville area?
Where is that 24 hour bowling alley?

the 24 hour one is called the Strike and Spare, located on Charlotte in the Hillwood area, between Bellevue and White Bridge.

What is duckpin bowling?

we had a unintentional message board bowling party last weekend, with 5 message board members in attendance (and 1 o-so-elusive former member). jamiecarroll makes a good bowling team partner, even though we got lots of gutter balls.

Duckpin bowling is like regular bowling except the pins are half the size, the ball fits in your palm, and you get three turns. I've only been once and the place I went you had to keep score yourself, set up the pins by pushing a button every time, and the place hadn't changed since 1972. It was awesome!

I thought I was the shit when I went bowling recently because I bowled a 104 (my friends got 20s and 30s) then found out my friend who happened to be there bowled a 178 while really drunk. wink.gif

This put me in the mood for bowling, I think I'm gonna go sometime this weekend now.
