TOPIC: Copies of the Beginning and TWIMTB single

I recently decided to take the plunge and consider myself an all-out collector, now that there are things to "collect."

So now I ask...who has bought ALL of the variations of the Beginning EP as well as the new single to fuel your fandom and/or support the band?

These include the original, the Fierce Panda UK original, the Universal release, and the Fierce Panda single.

Just curious.

It's at Grimey's if you don't want to order it.

Carligula jokingly posted at one point that he already bought the beginning in it's original pressing and wasn't going to buy it again. He was joking, but I actually kinda agree with what he said. I also bought it when it first came out, so between that and the - I don't know - 70 Features shows I've been to, I don't think anyone can question my support of the band. If I do buy it, which I may if I ever have disposable income again, it will be purely for the sake of being a collector. Ditto the TWIMTB single.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Well, I voted that I bought all of them before I noticed who started this poll. Really, I'm just sharing in Yadadada's wealth.

But sharing probably isn't the correct term since the two new EPs and the single are sealed...and will (perhaps) remain that way?

Anyway, I'll shamefully admit that I haven't really been craving the EP in any of its incantations. It's the upcoming (hopefully) album that I'm excited about.

I have the Beginning EP and I think thats it. I don't really care right now but I bet I would like to have them all in the future. Are there only four? Maybe I'll get on that.
i will dig a tunnel from my window to yours.

I do have all three versions of The Beginning. The latter two are still in the shrinkwrap, though. I just listen to the original one.

I ordered the single from the Fierce Panda website the other day, so it should be coming soon.

I'm kind of with Keith here. I mean, I have the original, and I plan on buying the others. When summer comes around, and I have money again, they are on my purchase list for sure.

the more important question is: which cover of "the beginning" ep do you like the best?

Should we make another poll? I'll have to think on that one.

I bought the only one there last week. It was "The Way It's Meant To Be", and I also picked up the last copy of the Universal release. Sorry.

Did anyone else grab Aqua Teen Hunger Force bumper stickers? I need to adorn my car, and soon!
That's so NA.

I saw The Universal version of the EP at a record store in Richmond today.... Even though I support the Features and wish them luck on their endeavors, I'm not planning on getting it. I have the original version and $7 for one new song is not my thing. I'll buy the full length though.

Two out of three ain't bad. For the record, I purchased the original one three times. Does that count for anything? I also supported them by buying the s/t EP 7 years ago. How many current fans can say that?

Luckily, the Daigle is a merciful Daigle.

What about the 7" version of the single on Fierce Panda? I'm not even sure that it was even released.

I think the current cover is the most eye-catching and therefore the best for their first major label release. However, I personally like the UK cover best.
