So the Features' EP is about to be released in the UK. Do you know what this means?

Soon, we are going to have an influx of message board members from overseas! Isn't that exciting?

I just wanted to prepare ya'll.

Cheers.

is this release really going to be THAT big? I don't really understand how things are done in the UK, but does this label really give them the means to pull of a huge hit in the UK?

Well, an easier, larger-scale example would be the Strokes, who released the Modern Age EP on Rough Trade. Yes, that was a big deal. I'm not as familiar with Fierce Panda, but I remember hearing of some other bands that started with them, and ended up being pretty popular. Somebody else should be able to remember who those bands are.

Crumpets, mushy peas, and scones are now being eaten at tea time with cuppa. We are prepared.

The label also releases Death Cab's UK releases I believe.

I doubt you'd be able to purchase it at shows since it's just the Beginning EP you should already own(!) reordered and repacked for the UK. I think it's going to be a mail order thing if you really want the "British" version, but Rory might change his mind.

I should add that the reviews are "pouring" in and are very positive. We'll get a "UK Press" review section up soon.

Coldplay...Aren't they pretty big?
I don't know, they're not that big. The lead singer is actually sort of athletic looking. They are pretty popular though, regardless of their size.

Yes, but the filthy language will remain.

Coldplay is overrated. Chris Martin should get the shit kicked out of him, and get a proper shave.

As I type this, there are 13 unregistered guests viewing the board index. I wonder if any of them are from across the pond.

Or "View From the Top."

I think it would be nice if some overseas fans dropped in occasionally with their thoughts and opinions.
